Put TwinCAT into Run or Config mode

You can set TwinCAT to Run or Config mode directly from Beckhoff RT Linux®, i.e. using the console. It is controlled via the TcSystemServiceUm service.

/usr/bin/TcSystemServiceUm

Proceed as follows:

Enter the following command to put TwinCAT into config mode:

sudo /usr/bin/TcSystemServiceUm -c /run/TcSystemServiceUm.pid

Enter the following command to put TwinCAT into run mode:

sudo /usr/bin/TcSystemServiceUm -r /run/TcSystemServiceUm.pid
