Technology processes
Technology functions can be defined in the channel parameter set (SDA-MDS) for each channel and each axis. The synchronization mechanism of the technology function is also defined in this parameter set. A distinction is made between two basic types of synchronization:
- Block-by block synchronization (default synchronization)
- Cross-block synchronization processes.
M functions not defined in the channel parameter set are indicated as unknown M functions by means of an error message after start of the NC program and decoding is aborted.
